THE VOICE OF THE PRIVATE EQUITY SECTOR

The German Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (BVK) represents the interests of the private equity industry in Germany. It advocates for the importance of private equity to policymakers and the media, analyzes market trends, and fosters collaboration among its members.

The BVK brings together 300 members, including approximately 200 private equity firms from the venture capital, buyout, and growth financing sectors, as well as institutional investors. The remaining members are consulting and service companies. The BVK is headquartered in Berlin, and its office is led by Ulrike Hinrichs.

The Executive Board consists of nine volunteer members representing various fields of expertise. The spokespersons for the Executive Board are Ulrike Hinrichs and Dr. Ingo Krocke. In addition, a legal advisory board comprising experts in financial market and tax law supports the association.
